I am a recent graduate from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelor's degree in Geography. I also yield an Associates Degree in Social Science from Fullerton College.

I tutor because I know how valuable it can be in realizing a students learning objectives. I, like many, struggled as a kid in the class room setting - Specifically with dyslexia - but developed a passion and positive study habits that propelled me to not lose hope but rather to excel in my academic goals. It's possible, and I can attest to this first hand! I have spent several years tutoring/teaching, and know what it takes to make a lesson stick while allowing total comprehension of it. Tutoring: Tutored Kindergarten through 6th graders at an after school day care with their general home work needs. Teaching: Taught Basic English language and writing skills In Thailand. I have taken a wide range of courses at the university which make me an apt tutor in the above mentioned subjects with classes such as: College Biology, Biological Geography, Physical Geography/climatology, Environmental Geography, Critical Reading and Writing, College English, Nutrition, Cultural Nutrition, American History, Early Western Civilization, History of American Cities, and Regional course study of: North America, Middle East, and Latin America.

Hobbies
I am passionate about learning and discovering new hobbies while involving myself in a career in Water-Science. I am placing myself, wherever I can, at the forefront to bettering the current drought here in California. By nature I love to explain any and everything, from calculating ones bowling score to my kid nieces or to how mountains form to nature enthusiasts. there are no dumb questions!
