| Education: | I'm a senior at CSUF, majoring in English. My GPA from enrollment is 3.80. |
| Experience: | From August 2010 to May 2012, I tutored English and ESL students at Fullerton College, where I received my CLRA certification. I've been tutoring students privately for three years. Helping others communicate is my passion. I find that no matter what one's ability in English is, each person has a unique perspective, and it's my hope that we can work together to communicate that perspective in written English. Language really is power. I'm a member of Phi Beta Delta, the Honors Society for International college students. In the summer of 2010 I participated in an academic tour led by Dr. Giacumakis; we traveled to Egypt, Israel, and Germany, immersing ourselves in the history and culture of each region. |
| Hobbies: | I'm the founder and co-administrator of "The Serpent", a club of college writers. Apart from sharing our interest in literature and art, we have good food! I am a competitive kickboxer; it keeps me in good shape, and it's a unique way to push my body and mind to excel. |

David was a really nice guy, and a great tutor. He helped me understand the assignment, and he pointed out the strong and weak points of my writing. I highly recommend him! |
